Afimilk is a global leader in dairy farm management and automation solutions, known for revolutionizing the dairy industry with cutting-edge technology.With a rich history of innovation, Afimilk provides advanced systems for herd management, milking automation, and dairy farm monitoring, helping farmers optimize milk production, animal health, and operational efficiency.Operating in over 50 countries, Afimilk's solutions empower farmers to enhance productivity and sustainability through smart, data-driven decisions.The company is committed to supporting the global dairy industry with high-quality products, professional service, and continuous technological advancements.We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Robotic Technician to join a leading company specializing in cutting-edge automation and robotics technology.This role is focused on the maintenance, repair, and installation of advanced mechanical and robotic systems across various industries.Summary :As a Mechanical / Robotic Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of robotic systems, mechanical equipment, and automated machinery.You will perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.This role involves hands-on technical work, including mechanical assembly, calibration, and repair of robotic components.You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve system efficiency and solve technical challenges.The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical or electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for working with advanced technology.Experience with robotics, automation, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, competitive pay, and professional growth within a forward-thinking company.Travel may be required to service equipment at customer sites.Responsibilities :Perform Maintenance, and repair of robotic milking systems atregional Service Center or customer sites.Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve technicalissues.Manage and control the Service Center warehouse.Accurate records of Maintenance and repair process, including robotics test logs and parts usage.Coordinate with HQ teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and components as needed.Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures at all times, both in the workshop and on-site.Requirements :Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role, preferably in Electro-mechanical equipments, or high-technology production line sectors.Familiarity with automated milking systems, particularly Milking robots, ishighly desirable.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability todiagnose and resolve technical issues independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability toeffectively interact with customers (end users & Dealers), and internalstakeholders.Flexibility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, oftenin remote locations and varying weather conditions.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites in Europe andout of Europe as required.Fluent in English, with proficiency in others EU languages being a plus.Benefits :Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a rapidly expandingcompany.Comprehensive training and ongoing professional developmentHealth insurance, retirement savings plans, and other benefits packageWe look forward to hearing from youMechanical Technician • Milan, Lombardy, Italy#J-*****-Ljbffr
