kfzteile24 is Germany's leading digital company for car parts and automotive equipment.As a Berlin-based multichannel company, we own successful online shops like kfzteile24.de, autoteile24.de, and carpardoo in multiple European countries.We are Germany's best-known brand in the online aftermarket.With expert advice, a wide range of products and fast, reliable deliveries, we ensure individual mobility for our customers.As Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) in our Cloud Infrastructure team at our headquarters in Berlin, you will be a driver of our AWS based platform.You will manage and improve our cloud infrastructure to maintain site reliability, performance and security.You will be an enabler of our development teams so they can ship fast and safely.What we offerPermanent employment contract and 30 days vacationPossibility of home office 3 days a weekInternal and external training opportunitiesUp to 50% employee discount in our branches and workshopsVarious health and sport offers (e.g., Bike-Leasing, VDU glasses)Additional benefits such as language courses via Babbel, company pension plan, corporate benefitsYour responsibilityMaintain the security, scalability, and reliability of our AWS based cloud platformWork on and evolve our AWS infrastructure, using infrastructure as code and provisioning via Terraform/TerragruntKubernetes & containers: EKS administration, maintenance and hardening, network policies, RBAC and secrets managementManage and improve CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions), including security scanning (Codacy, Checkov, Dependabot) to catch issues early in delivery pipelines.Web & API security: WAF/CDN hardening (e.g., CloudFront + AWS WAF managed and custom rules), bot mitigation, secure coding standards.Observability & incident response: Central logging/monitoring with New Relic and CloudWatch; maintain and extend existing AWS Cloudwatch/New Relic alertsIdentity & access: IAM strategies (least privilege, permission boundaries, ABAC), SSO/MFA, key and secrets management (KMS, AWS Secrets Manager)Job requirementsExperience: 5+ years in DevOps/SRE with a focus on cloud security (AWS), IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)WAF: Familiarity with Web Application Firewalls (e.g., AWS WAF) is a must-have, incl.CDN edge hardening (CloudFront) and bot mitigationAutomation: Proficient with pipelines (GitHub Actions) and scripting (e.g. Bash/Python/Go)Operations: Observability, incident handling, root cause analysis and postmortems (New Relic, CloudWatch)Technical depth: AWS cloud administration, Kubernetes/container management and security, network segmentation, encryption, backupsCommunication: Excellent collaborator; able to coach teams on cloud related technologies and processes; able to translate security into pragmatic engineering practicesLanguage skills: Strong communication skills (English required, German a plus)Bonus skillsCertifications: AWS Security Specialty, CKA/CKS or similarExperience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft AzureBackground in e-commerce/logistics or highly available platformsApply nowIf you would like to be part of our motivated IT-Team, apply for the position of Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d), stating your salary expectations and your earliest starting date.If you have any questions, please contact Irina Ring at ******************.#J-*****-Ljbffr
