Position MissionIn the aim of expanding the ETCS On Board System Engineering Team, AngelStar is looking for a candidate to work in the system engineering activities for the ETCS OBU development and integration with country-specific ATP systems as well as in projects for the specific application of ETCS on-board systems into rail vehicles.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and analysing the input documentation and Customer/generally applicable requirements;Identifying the functions, the architecture and the interfaces of the on board signalling system being the transportation standard in Italy and all over EuropeCreation of concepts, system requirements specifications and architectures at system/subsystem levelDesigning the system and its configuration, developing the relevant documentation;Interfacing the Customer and the other partners;Participating to the meetings with development team of AngelStar and other partner;Applying processes, methods & tool in accordance to AngelStar standards;Carrying out the system integration activities in lab and on field.Supporting laboratory tests and on-site activities.Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional ExperienceDegree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.Experience of at least 2 years in the railway industry preferably with the role of Systems Engineer and/or Designer focused on Board Systems.Basic knowledge of the disciplines related to the On Board Systems design: applicable norms, ETCS OBU function and architecture, European Technical Standards.Knowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business.Related knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)Basic knowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management tool.Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.Availability for short-term national and international business trip.Sosteniamo la parità di genere e promuoviamo un ambiente equo ed inclusivo.
