About the role Morimatsu Energies & Materials is starting a new operation office in Milan, Italy in **** to support company's business in Europe region.We are seeking a professional to drive sales and project coordination activities with European clients and partners in Energy and Chemical Industry, including but not limited to End Users, EPC Contractors, Technology Licensors, Project Developers etc.This role focuses on business development, customer relationship management and project coordination for company's pressure vessel manufacturing and modular EPF (engineering, procurement, fabrication) business.Product Portfolio and Targeted MarketProduct & Service :Design & Supply of Pressure Vessels, including Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Drums etc.Modular EPF (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication) Solution for Chemical, O&G, Green Energy Process Plants.Pre-FEED / FEED engineering consultancy to promote modular solutions for potential customersTargeted Market:Chemical / Fine ChemicalGreen Energies (i.e. Green H2 / MeOH / Ammonia, SAF, etc.)Oil & Gas (Off-shore & On-shore)EV Battery Materials (Electrolyte, Cathode, Anode etc.)See further details on our website :Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Management:Identify and engage new clients and project opportunities in Europe with deep understanding of company's technical characteristics and connections in the industry network.Participate in industrial events to explore potential customers and projects, improve market awareness by presenting the company on selected exhibitions / forums.Improve customer relationships by providing professional and localized sales & project coordination service, gain access to insight information during project bidding stage to improve win rate of biddings, build and maintain strong top management connections with European customers and partners.Follow up front-end and firm project opportunities, manage proposals and clarifications with support by Asian headquarter sales team.Visit clients on a routine basis to maintain and improve network quality and depth within client's organization.Support communication with clients for after-sales requests.Project Management & Coordination:Support project meetings led by project manager to improve communication quality and efficiency when necessary.Strong communication skills and problem-solving thinking are required for this function.Support project manager to negotiate with client for change orders, liquidated damages for delay / quality.Support project / procurement manager for coordination meetings with European local suppliers.QualificationsExperience Requirements:5+ years working experience in chemical / energy industry, background in EPC contractor / process licensor / pressure vessel manufacturer is preferred.Candidates shall have experience of sales or project management in previous positions.Technical Competencies :Knowledge of ASME VIII, PED ********* / EU, EN *****, and other relevant standards for pressure equipment.Proficiency in engineering documentation (e.g., P&ID, datasheets, drawings, specifications etc.).Mechanical or Process Engineering background is preferred.Soft Skills :Fluent English as working language is a must.Italian and other European languages will be a plus.Responsible and rigorous personality, strong negotiation, problem-solving, and intercultural communication skills.Strong capability and willingness of learning and shifting the skill sets into different industry applications.Capability to work under pressure and acceptance to work extra time when necessary to finish the work within deadline.Other :Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and occasionally to global project sites.Valid EU work permit or residence required.Availability to work in Segerate, Milan during workdays.Why Join Us?Leading international market position as pressure vessel supplier and modular solution provider in energy & chemical industry.Originated from Japan since **** with proud history and solid financial growth.Competitive compensation package with performance incentives.Professional development opportunities with global market accessibility.Application : Submit your CV and cover letter to following email addresses with the subject line "Sales Engineer – MET Italy".#J-*****-Ljbffr
