technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed.Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and manages the state-of-the-art complex infrastructure to provide a smooth experience for sellers and buyers to buy various software and services for different domains like infrastructure software, machine learning, and IoT.We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help the team take AWS Marketplace to the next level.As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture.The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from a set of robust platform services, to system level pieces and everything in between.You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence.A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.The ideal candidate will have a track record of success delivering new features or products.This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast.This person has design and implementation experience, knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures.Key Job ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex and broad business problems of cloud marketplaces with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices, building solutions that scale and perform well.They will own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end.This position requires collaboration with other engineers on the team, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams.You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and should have a desire to create, iterate and improve.Frontend DevelopmentImplement responsive and intuitive user interfaces based on design specifications.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the application.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.Backend DevelopmentBuild and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Design and implement database schemas and optimize database queries.Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.Develop scalable backend architectures that support the multi-tenant B2B marketplace platform.Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.A Day in the LifeCollaboration & QualityConduct code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas for improvement.Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide technical expertise and insights.Collaborate with the QA team to identify and fix bugs and ensure high-quality software releases.Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide project updates.Innovation & GrowthCreate prototypes to validate use cases, receive feedback from customers, software development experience.2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Experience programming with at least one software programming language.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes,
