Junior Sales Controller

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Controller to support both Financial Controlling and Commercial teams.This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, understands business dynamics, and wants to develop strong analytical, commercial, and cross functional collaboration skills.You will contribute to financial reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting, while also supporting sales performance monitoring, profitability analysis, and pricing intelligence.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare business cases for new products, pricing changes, and commercial initiativesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activitiesPrepare management reports and dashboardsPerform variance analysis and identify key performance driversAssist in budgeting and forecasting cyclesMonitor KPIs, costs, and financial trendsEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policiesConduct deep dive cost analysis to understand cost structures and margin driversPerform profitability analysis by product, customer, channel, and regionSupport Sales to develop Transfer prices and pricing strategy evaluationsMonitor sales performance, revenue trends, and commercial KPIsAnalyze discounts, rebates, and commercial conditions to ensure profitabilityCollaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide insights and improve decision makingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.Strong analytical and numerical skillsProficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plusFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statementsGood command of English and Italian (written and spoken)Soft Skills We ValueStrong attention to detail and accuracyCuriosity and willingness to explore data beyond the surfaceProactive mindset and eagerness to learnAbility to communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholdersTeam oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skillsProblem solving mindset and structured thinkingAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesWork location:Copparo (FERRARA), Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
