Google Cloud Data Engineer Join to apply for the Google Cloud Data Engineer role at BIP.About BIPBIP works vertically on Google Cloud (GCP) platforms, specializing in consulting and innovative services in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Data, and Martech.ResponsibilitiesOperate on the GCP Data Platform, implementing batch or real-time processing pipelines, transforming and processing structured and unstructured data.Be autonomous in acquiring, storing, cleansing, anonymising/crypting/masking data, handling nulls and outliers, aggregating, and structuring unstructured data.Create KPI quality metrics and prepare data for various users, including:Data Scientists who use datasets for machine-learning model development.Data visualisation and business-intelligence tools.Relational databases and non-relational stores (e.g., Data Warehouse, Graph DB, NoSQL).External applications via API logic (e.g., REST API).Receive machine-learning models from data scientists, optimise for scalable execution (e.g., parallelisation), and integrate or schedule them for efficient automated execution.Build and evolve complex pipelines, maximise reuse, quality, efficiency, performance, documentation, and order.Provide advisory for selecting the most suitable GCP services and optimising existing ones.Engage with clients, vendors, partners, and ensure solutions meet client requirements and expectations.Actively contribute to the community with research, scouting, new solution concepts, and business development.QualificationsExperience implementing and managing cloud-based data platforms.In-depth knowledge of Google GCP and related services (e.g., DataFlow, Composer, Data Fusion, Vertex).Understanding of modern data platform concepts (Big Data, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Virtualisation, Data Mesh, Governance).Experience designing data models and building/maintaining pipelines for ETL.Proficiency in one or more programming and querying languages (SQL, Java, Ruby, Python, R).Experience with structured and unstructured database technologies (e.g., Bigquery, Cloud SQL, Firestore).Google Professional Data Engineer certification or equivalent is a plus.BenefitsOver 300 courses on emerging technologies and business, personalised development programmes, training initiatives, and people-care activities.Work-life integration with flexible remote and on-site work schedules and a Solidarity Hour Bank for supporting colleagues in difficult times.Health and benefits: health insurance, subsidised check-ups, wellness platforms, and a comprehensive welfare plan.Ticket restaurants and other dedicated benefits.Family support: full integration for the first 3 months of parental leave, one-time bonus, extra days for fathers, and support during leave and return.Inclusion and values: promote uniqueness, provide equal opportunities, ethical and welcoming environment, and active policies for protected categories.Next StepsOnce your CV has been received, we will carefully evaluate it.If there is a match with this or other open positions within the group, we will contact you to begin a mutual introduction.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology – Business Consulting and Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
