Overview Tecnimont is a leading international engineering and construction company focusing on innovative solutions for the energy transition.The company is seeking aCivil & Structural Concrete Specialistto join its team in Catania.ResponsibilitiesGuarantee the quality of deliverables and their compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions.Cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to coordinate activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless of the location and distribution of the engineering centers.Manage and issue design calculations reports and specifications, check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader.Integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader.Check and approve Vendor's documents (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents).Provide assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader.Conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques.Keep up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.QualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree, preferred Master's degree in Civil Engineering.4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferably in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design office.Good knowledge of European and international codes and standards.Good knowledge in AutoCad 2D drawings for document modification.User friendly in Autodesk Navisworks and BIM360.Fluent in English (speaker and writer).Availability to travel for short and long periods (max 3 months).Plus: Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software (SAP****, STAAD), Autodesk Revit, Precast and/or Pre-Stressed concrete structures, basic Project Management knowledge, international background.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesOil and Gas, Design Services, and Mining#J-*****-Ljbffr
