IAMA Risorse Umaneis a well-established company and a key reference point in recruitment & selection, head hunting and HR project management across the Banking, Insurance, Industry, Services, and Information Technology & Digital sectors.On behalf of a fast-growing insurtech company operating as both a broker and MGA, and part of an international insurance group specialized in solutions for professionals and SMEs, we are seeking a:Underwriter – Professional IndemnityThe selected candidate will contribute to the development of innovative digital insurance products, with visibility on both the Italian market and strategic international projects.The role involves close collaboration with management and international teams, within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of new insurance products in line with current regulations (market benchmarking, new target segments, underwriting criteria, pricing structures and policy wording), with a focus onProfessional Indemnity, Cyber, Commercial Property and D&O.Participation in technical negotiations, in collaboration with international product and underwriting teams as well as other insurance carriers.Collaboration with the Data Science team to develop pricing algorithms and underwriting models based on analytics and data enrichment.Daily management of referrals received from the Sales team and intermediaries.Management and ongoing update of the product portfolio, ensuring sustainable growth and alignment with Group guidelines.Monitoring portfolio performance and implementing corrective actions when needed.Active participation in strategic projects at both local and international level.Support to Marketing and Sales functions across all channels (Direct, Partnerships, Affinity, Intermediaries), including direct interactions with clients and partners.Monitoring of the Italian and European markets to identify emerging trends and development opportunities.RequirementsDegree in Economics, Law or Statistics.At least3–5 years of experiencein product development or underwriting roles, gained within MGAs, insurance companies or dynamic and innovative brokers.Strong knowledge of the following lines of business:Liability, Cyber, Professional Indemnity, Commercial Property and D&O.Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage both daily operational tasks and medium- to long-term development projects.What We OfferCompensation in line with experience.Work location: Milan, with partial remote working options.IAMA Risorse Umane thanks all applicants in advance.Within 30 days from receipt, we will contact candidates whose profiles are aligned with the position; after this period, the selection process should be considered closed.This job posting is open to candidates of all genders in accordance with Law no. ******.Please include authorization to process personal data pursuant to EU Regulation ******** ("GDPR"), in force since 25 May ****.Interested candidates are invited to first read the Privacy Notice available on the website of IAMA Risorse Umane.IAMA Risorse Umane S.r.l.– Permanent authorization to operate as a recruitment and selection agency, issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare on Prot.13/I/ .#J-*****-Ljbffr
