On behalf of Medac Pharma Italy, Pharma Point is seeking a Medical Science Liaison- Central-Southern ItalyMedac Pharmais the Italian subsidiary of Medac GmbH, an international pharmaceutical company with more than 2,000 employees worldwide.For over 50 years,Medachas been recognized for its expertise in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of highly specialized pharmaceutical products and medical devices, with astrong focus on oncology, hematology, rheumatology, urology, and neurosurgery.The company stands out for its specialization in niche products and for a portfolio that includes innovative therapies and specialized equivalents, with particular attention to the treatment of rare diseases.As a continuously growing organization, Medac is committed to placing health at the center of its mission, working to deliver meaningful improvements in patients' quality of life.At Medac, work goes beyond the concept of a job: it represents a shared commitment to making a real difference, guided bycore values of Dedication, Responsibility, Respect, and Creativity, which shape both people and business decisions.On behalf of Medac Pharma Italia, we are looking for aMedical Science Liaison (MSL)with a strong scientific background and proven experience in the role to join the Medical Affairs Department.The role of the MSL is dedicated on the maintenance and development of the main relationships with the principal medical scientific experts as well as actively working on the development of clinical research projects in the Headquarter.Directly reporting to the Medical Affairs Director, the candidate will support mostly the medical/scientific programs of Medac Pharma in the Hematology and Uro-oncology area and will contribute to cross-functional account management by supporting shared projects.The MSL will collaborate with clinicians and other scientific experts to present and develop research projects and clinical trials that Medac design in the above-mentioned fields.The MSL's main responsibilities include:Maintaining and developing relationships and collaborations with a panel of National and Regional KOL's in the field of Hematology and Uro-oncology, representing the main point of contact for any medical/scientifical topicsSupporting the development of clinical and scientific research projects as well as new projects in the therapeutical areas of interestSupporting the Field Force colleagues in their relationship with KOL's through scientific trainings of the new literature of the main products, new clinical indication and scientific evidencePresenting and discussing clinical and research data during hospital meetings in the national reference centresSupporting the Medical Affairs team on the evaluation of national new clinical studies feasibility as well as managing the critical situations in on-going clinical studiesDeveloping and maintaining collaborations with the main scientific societiesSupporting the Medical Affairs Director in the development of scientific contents of product portfolioGathering medical insights from the territory to the head quarter in order to discuss the appropriate strategies in the mentioned therapeutic areasEnsuring continuous alignment with Field Force teamSupporting Market Access colleagues to introduce the company products at national and regional levelInteract, when needed, with the Global Medical Affairs Department as well as his/her peers in the other countries on the scientific product developmentJob Location:the role is ideally based inRome or Napleswith field activities in the assigned territoryWho you are:Deep knowledge of the key MSL activities and processes with solid experience insimilar role in Italy in the ematology field and preferably also in uro-oncology areaMedical or scientific degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmaD)Previous experience in clinical research or Post doc will be considered as a plusHigh level of external customer relations management skills (KOLs, specialists)Knowledge of clinical trials in GCP and interpretation of data from clinical trials and research programmesExcellent written and communication and presentation skillsStrategic visionGood attitude in team buildingDynamic person with a strong commitment to valuesGood English level, both written and spoken is requiredGood command of the Office package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
