Further your career at Ball, a world leader in manufacturing sustainable aluminium packaging.Achieve extraordinary things when you join our team, and make a difference in your professional development, the community, and around the globeBall is thrilled to receive Newsweek's **** Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplace awardAs a sustainable product leader, we have over 16,000 global team members.From endlessly recyclable aluminum cans, and cups, to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world.Position OverviewAs a Process Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring successful start-up performance for new builds, new lines, and line conversions across washer, RO, and WWT process areas.You will be responsible for achieving target efficiency, spoilage, and environmental compliance, while supporting optimization of material usage, supplies, and utilities.In this role, you will lead a specific process area based on your expertise and contribute to building technical capability across sites during critical start-up phases.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming specialised chemical and process adjustments to optimise production outcomes.Leading troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex mechanical and process issues.Ensuring optimal performance and reliability of chemical processing equipment during start-ups, delivering results aligned with start-up curves.Providing technical leadership for FE area performance during start-up phases.Training site personnel in process understanding, performance expectations, and autonomous operation.Supporting emergency breakdowns and size conversions, enabling local teams to execute independently.Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards, legal requirements, and site procedures.Identifying and eliminating waste, inefficiencies, and material losses, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Supporting development and execution of preventive maintenance routines.Optimising chemical processing lines using in-line measurement systems and controls to maintain stability and performance.Supporting implementation of BOE standards within assigned areas.What we're looking for?Degree in Chemical Engineering and relevant experience (minimum 3 years as CPO or CPM in can manufacturing)Strong hands-on experience with washers, wastewater treatment systems, soluble oil systems, filtration and cooling towersProven capability in equipment setup, troubleshooting and optimisation, with solid understanding of chemical properties, reactions, handling, storage and disposalAbility to train and transfer process knowledge to others (Train-the-Trainer certification is an advantage)Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in computer tools for data analysis and reportingExperience with line launches or rebuild projects is an advantageContinuous improvement and ownership mindset with focus on waste reductionFlexibility to travel on short noticeFluency in English is required, additional languages are an advantage.Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We actively encourage applications from everybody, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, faith, ability, or orientation.When you join Ball you belong to a team of over 16,000 members worldwide.Our products range from infinitely recyclable aluminium cans, cups to aerosol bottles solutions that enable our customers to contribute to a better world.Each of us has a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion which is the foundation of our culture of belonging.Everyone at Ball is making a difference by doing what we love.Because what we create may change, but what we will always make is a difference.Please note the advertised job title might vary from the job title on the contract due to local job title structure and global HR systems.No agencies please.#J-*****-Ljbffr
