The OpportunityFull-Time (3 days in office, 2 remote)About Studio VolpiFounded in ****, Studio Volpi is a global reference for developing projects that seamlessly integrate technology, design, and branding.Our winning strategy lies in blending these elements at every stage of the design process, from initial strategy to final development.We are a multidisciplinary team collaborating with top international partners across diverse industries.Based in Carnago, Italy, we maintain a global presence with additional offices in China and the U.S.The RoleAs a Senior Industrial Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the creative process, driving the design and execution of products ranging from cutting-edge consumer electronics to sophisticated home appliances.This is a full-time, hands-on position based in Carnago, Varese, where you will be responsible for guiding major design projects and shaping the next generation of physical products for our global partners.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex industrial design projects from initial concept ideation through to final execution.Plan and manage meetings and presentations independently.Create and refine high-quality, user-centric design concepts, emphasizing aesthetics, form language, and physical user experience.Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and strategically aligned.Synthesize market trends, user research, and usability test data to generate new, viable product ideas and concepts.Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers.Prototype physically (low-fi) or digitally (AR/VR) experience models.Develop CMF (Color, Material, Finish) directions and prototype specifications.Willingness to travel for research, project delivery, and client meetings.Minimum QualificationsA University Degree in Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of professional working experience in industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped products.Exceptional skills in industrial design, encompassing high-quality aesthetics, form language, and physical user experience.Profound understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.Expertise in photorealistic 3D rendering (e.g., KeyShot) and advanced proficiency in relevant CAD software (e.g., Rhinoceros, SolidWorks, or Creo).Professional working proficiency in English.Must be eligible to work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Preferred Qualifications / BonusExperience across a wide range of categories, particularly consumer electronics and home appliances.Experience with digital interaction (UX/UI) is a plus.Proficiency with the latest design tools, including Generative AI workflows.Professional working proficiency in Italian.How to ApplySend your most recent CV and Portfolio with recent works, with Subject: "Senior Industrial Designer – LeManoosh" to#J-*****-Ljbffr
