OverviewJoin URBI – Powering the Future of Urban MobilityURBI is a company of 18 people, part of the Telepass Group, and on a mission to reshape how people move through cities.Our app empowers users to seamlessly explore, plan, and manage all their mobility needs—from shared scooters and taxis to trains and ferries—all in one place.Available in cities across Italy and Europe, URBI brings together the convenience of multi-modal transport with intuitive features like map-based discovery, a mobility deals shop, integrated payments, and travel history tracking.We\'re now looking for a senior Android Developer to help us scale and evolve our platform.Preferred location:Milan or Cosenza, but smart working is okResponsibilitiesTake the lead on our Android appsWork in a goal-oriented, structured, and independent mannerShow commitment, responsibility, and adaptability, even under pressureCollaborate on implementation requirements and communicate effectively with project membersQualificationsAt least 4 years of experience in Android app development with strong knowledge of the Kotlin languageDeep understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI and/or Clean ArchitectureExperience with modularized project structuresHands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIsFamiliarity with state management solutions, preferably ReduxSolid experience with Android unit testingGood knowledge of frameworks such as Firebase, Dagger, Koin, and RetrofitAbility to manage Gradle project configurations and write custom scriptsExperience with Google Maps integration, background processing, and UX optimizationAbility to work with and maintain proprietary native librariesPassion for writing reusable, maintainable, and clean codeFamiliarity with Git, TDD, and REST APIsExperience with Wear OS, Android Auto (Google Car), or React Native is a plusPortfolio of previous projects and/or personal hacks to showcaseKnowledge of Agile software development practicesFlexibility and willingness to learn new technologiesGood command of English (written and spoken)Interest in urban mobility and the sharing economyMain skills:Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Firebase, Gradle, Git, Dagger, RetrofitNice to have:Kotlin Multiplatform, Wear OS, Android Auto, React NativeWhat we offerOpportunity for professional and personal growthBe part of a small, strong, and experienced team with product-focused technical co-foundersLearn about startups, new technologies, and scaling productsPossibility to work remotely, with occasional in-office meetingsThe chance to reshape urban mobility#J-*****-Ljbffr
