Want a 3D Career?Join Norgine.At Norgine, our colleaguesDarethemselves to be different and try new things,Driveto achieve their goals and beyond, andDevelopthemselves and their community.We call it the3D careerat Norgine and it offers you a fully-rounded experience with no limits.Bring everything about yourself that you're proud of, whether that's your passion for making a difference, focus on others' well-being, or intellectual curiosity to unleash in a fast-paced environment and supportive community.In return, get a sense of belonging, a long-term career with ongoing development and upskilling, and a company that cares about people's wellness as much as you do.Norgine: Transforming Healthcare, Backed by Over a Century of Expertise.We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison to join Norgine.The person holding this position will report to the Medical Director and be a member of the Medical Affairs team.The core responsibility of the Medical Science Liaison is act as the medical expert for Norgine's products, providing scientific information, answering clinical inquiries, and engaging with healthcare professionals to support patient care.Additionally, the role involves supporting research initiatives, training internal stakeholders, and offering insights to guide business strategy and product development.This will be a permanent role.Please submit CVs in EnglishKEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:Be the field based medical expert of drug and therapy for NorgineKeep up-to-date with clinical knowledge, published data and trial work for company products, including attendance at scientific meetings and conferences and actively communicate insights/ new information to the Medical team and brand teams as appropriateProvide accurate and non-promotional scientific information relating to licensed and unlicensed products and indications following unsolicited requests from Health Care ProfessionalsAnswer medical/technical enquiries from Health Care Professionals by the retrieval, evaluation and presentation of high quality information using in-house and external sources, in a timely mannerBuild and maintain partnerships with External Experts (EE)Identify and map key EEs for potential collaborative projects and develop a plan for how best to engage with EEs and develop long term relationships.Establish contact and build partnerships with External Experts (EEs)Maintain on-going relationships with national and local EEsEngage in a peer-to-peer two-way scientific exchange to support and develop the expertise of the customer in relation to Norgine products and therapy areas, thus supporting patient care.Become the preferred source of information on therapy area for the EEProvide speaker training and support to Health Care Professionals to maintain knowledge levels within the healthcare community about new therapies developed and commercialised by NorgineResearch and Project SupportIdentify and track potential research opportunities that are aligned with Norgine medicine development objectives through facilitating Clinical Research (e.g. non-interventional studies, registries, epidemiology projects, preclinical or translational research) as agreed by Medical TA and relevant Business Unit Heads.Collaborate with external / internal research colleagues and Medical Advisors, to support clinical sites, providing feasibility and research site recommendation as required in accordance with guidelines, Norgine Internal Policies, and regulations.Upon investigator request, liaise between potential researcher and the company on IST (investigator sponsored studies) submissions.Manage the contracting process for ISTsScientific and clinical expert for sales force and other internal stakeholdersProvide medical support, training and cross functional working (i.e. disease state and product) to Norgine colleagues (e.g. sales reps, etc.) as required.Support Market Access team activities as necessaryThrough peer-to-peer two-way scientific exchange, bring insights into the business to support strategy and future product or pipeline developmentRequirementsAdvanced degree in a scientific or medical fieldProven experience as a MSL in the pharmaceutical industry is essentialExperience within Oncology or Rare Diseases is essentialExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leadersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel as neededThis job description is a summary of the typical functions of the job;
