FOAA (Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Fixed Assets team. This role supports management in financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies, including month-end activities such as closing sub-ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting, and balance sheet account analysis. The successful candidate will help ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended, and will contribute to system and process development to improve efficiency and control. ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end activities including closing sub-ledgers, reconciling general ledger accounts, and conducting balance sheet analysis. Support management in financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies. Ensure internal controls and financial policies are in place, documented, and operating as intended. Promote systems and process development within the department to enhance efficiency and control improvements. Innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Collaborate with teams to provide accurate financial information and insights for decision making. QualificationsCA qualification is a requirement; 0-4 years of post-qualification experience in month-end closing of books of accounts, working on various sub-ledgers, accounting knowledge, balance sheet reconciliation, and reporting activities. Experience with standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills; advanced Excel and knowledge of SQL preferred. Experience with corporate finance including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication; ability to influence business decisions through data. Lean/ Six Sigma defect reduction techniques knowledge preferred. Experience with Oracle and Blackline reconciliation tool is a plus. Flexible, adaptable, well-organized; self-motivated and energetic; strong team orientation. Nice-to-have /
Preferred Qualifications
Well-versed with Excel and data analysis to support business decisions. Experience in Retail or Market Place or Financial Retail Services recommended.
