Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is an emblem of Portofino's allure.Our elevated escape is perched in the protected Portofino hills, overlooking the glittering Gulf of Tigullio and charming Portofino.We are proud of our legendary past and continue to visualise our heritage of the future.Become part of a caring team of professionals striving for excellence.At Belmond we look for effortlessly engaging characters, whose personality, humour and charm shine through, creating a culture for unscripted and instinctive service and genuine human connection.We are looking for aPurchasing Managerto join our Splendido Team.For this position, you are looking for a manager who will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials, compliance with quality standards, internal procedures, and cost control within a luxury hotel.He/She will Report to Area Financial Controller.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the entire warehouse cycle: goods reception, storage, distribution, and inventoriesVerify the conformity of received goods with orders, delivery notes (DDT), and hotel quality standardsEnsure proper product storage according to HACCP regulations, safety standards, and luxury best practicesMonitor minimum and maximum stock levels, preventing stockouts or surplusesCollaborate with the Purchasing Department to optimize orders, lead times, and suppliersManage periodic inventories (monthly, quarterly, and annually) and accounting reconciliationsSupport cost control, reducing waste, inventory discrepancies, and obsolescenceCorrectly utilize management systems (ERP / PMS / warehouse software)Actively collaborate with operational departments to understand needs and prioritiesApply and enforce company procedures and internal policiesRequirementsDiploma or equivalent qualification, qualifications in economics/logistics are a plusPrevious experience in the role within 5-star hotels or luxury contextsKnowledge of hotel warehouse flows (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering)Basic knowledge of warehouse accounting and cost control also familiarity with inventory management IT systemsKnowledge of HACCP regulations and workplace safetyAccuracy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility with excellent organizational and planning skillsConfidentiality and professional integrityFluent Italian, professional English (written and spoken)BenefitsWe offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
