Position Description & QualificationsIf you love high-profile and challenging projects supporting the US Army, Serco offers a great opportunity for you.As the Senior Logistics Management Specialist you will work with the Global Logistics Augmentation and Staff Support (GLASS) team supporting the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in Vinceza, Italy, using your expertise to impact military defense.In This Role, You WillDevelop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets, screen requirements for completeness, accuracy, and suitability.Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and/or requesting activity.Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all current and emerging requirements.Deliver technical assistance, training, and information—through briefings, phone conversations, VTCs, MS Teams meetings, etc.—to customers and Government staff on requirements packet generation, reviews, validation, performance metrics, and project schedules.Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals submitted in response to Project Planning Requests (PPRs) and change proposals on service contract task orders.Monitor theater logistical priorities by attending daily operations and staff meetings.Possibly lead portions of meetings to support logistics for requesting activity.Maintain continuous liaison with requesting activities, performance contractors, contracting officials, and program staff within the AOR/PMO.Analyze the performance contractor's monthly workload to determine previous quarter workload and project future quarter projections.Review projections and consider anticipated adjustments such as troop surge or seasonal requirements that may affect workload.Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on performance contractor's project schedules, metrics, planning estimates, Letters of Technical Direction (LOTDs), changing requirements, and common operating pictures (COPs).Recommend changes to operations requirements, PWS revisions, emerging missions, or changes in mission/environment.Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging missions, policies, procedures, regulations, directives, or other issues.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveAn active or current Secret clearance.US citizenship.A bachelor's degree.At least 5 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.At least 5 years of experience or similar/related experience with pre-award procurement activities such as:Analyzing and documenting requirements.Recommending revisions to performance work statements or specifications.Procurement, project planning, and management.Tracking and monitoring procurement activities to ensure compliance with DoD policy, administrative procedures, regulations, and statutes.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The ability to obtain approval to work in Italy by obtaining an ECOPS and VISA.The ability to report onsite five times a week.The ability to travel up to 50% of the time and independently travel to remote locations to provide site-survey estimates for emerging requirements.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Robust vacation and sick leave benefits, and flexible work arrangements where permitted.401(k) plan with employer matching funds.Tuition reimbursement program.Life insurance and disability coverage.Optional coverages that can be purchased—including pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protection.Birth, adoption, and parental leave benefits.Employee Assistance Plan.Salary and Pay TransparencySalary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting.This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels.Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations.Equal Opportunity EmployerSerco is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.#J-*****-Ljbffr
