Who We Are Do you want to turn the challenges of digitalization into the solutions of the future?Join BCG Platinion in tackling the core IT issues of leading global companies.Deploy customized platforms, architectures, strategies, and organizations to leverage the digital potential of our customers and drive true innovation, with state-of-the-art tools such as cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.Add your individual strengths to our unique team, always there to support you.Together with Boston Consulting Group and our clients, we turn digital visions into reality.What You'll DoAs a Lead IT Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues, define IT strategies, architecture solutions, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.You will be given end-to-end responsibility for larger, highly technical and more complex "modules" within a project, and begin to develop specialized knowledge to help you solve clients' problems.You will start to take on team lead responsibilities and demonstrate intellectual leadership.ResponsibilitiesBuilding communityAdvising internal colleagues on core technical concepts and frameworks.Advising fellow architects on areas relevant to a deep area you have depth in.Developing a network in the BCG technical community and leveraging it for our clients.Developing & DesigningAnalysing complex IT application landscapes.Analysing the status quo and optimisation of IT architectures.Identifying non-trivial technology decisions facing a client.Storytelling about architectural building blocks and their importance.Roadmapping and business case development.Controlling & ManagingReviewing proposals and / or in-flight technical work.IT project management and quality assurance.Optimising application development processes.What You'll BringYou have from 10 to 15 years' experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery or technology consulting.You show ability to bring unique tech perspectives from outside the consulting industry into BCG's typical engagements, requiring consulting experience, a strategic mindset (hypothesis-driven, ******* mindset, iterative approach, activist stance), and self-management.You have leadership potential to transform the consulting industry in particular around interaction with designers, engineers, and PO's.You are progressing thought leadership in deep tech.You bring new (but proven) methodologies or ways of working.You have a clear overview of common development methods and tools, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.You are able to balance dogmatism and pragmatism to guide decision making;
