OverviewPPG AMPASPACE is part of the PPG Aerospace Strategic Business Unit, a global leading manufacturer of Aircraft transparencies, coatings and sealants.PPG Ampaspace produces both monolithic and laminated aircraft transparencies using acrylic and polycarbonate materials for the world's top manufacturers of civilian and military aircraft.Its production includes cockpit and passenger cabin windows, canopies and windshields for military jets and helicopters, landing light lenses and wing tip lenses.Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace AreaAs Manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in all manufacturing engineering activities of Casaletto Vaprio plant: ensure alignment of production data with the customer design and develop a culture of quality, safety and EHS for the Aerospace production.You will develop operational excellence according to the site's strategy and define manufacturing processes of the plant, by optimization and efficiency of people, materials and equipment.ResponsibilitiesInterpretation of engineering DWG, specifications and manufacturing processesDesign and Production Data Configuration ManagementManufacturing method development and improvementImplementation of optimized production technologies, testing tools and industrial tools for new products and/or for the optimization of existing production lines.Manage the definition of the proper workflows, assembly and test proceduresEstimation of production time and costRedazione della documentazione tecnica rispetto ai processi di manufacturingTechnical support to supplier quality activitiesWorking with shopfloor personnel to validate processes and toolsTechnical support to supervisors and shopfloor operators to solve manufacturing process challengesTechnical support to supply chain department for purchasing raw material/sub-assemblyGreen Belt (Lean Six Sigma) project coordinationManage in collaboration with the production the resolution of technical issuesRequirementsEngineering degree (mechanical or aerospace) and technical knowledgeStrong Italian and English knowledge (written and spoken)Good knowledge of BPI processes (Master manufacturing, Lean Sigma, Quality and Logistic techniques and skills).Good communication skillsOrganizational skills and focus on detailsPreciseness and accuracyFair attitude with colleagues and direct reportsAct with a long term perspectiveWhat We OfferFull time permanent contractTicket restaurantHealth insurancePension FundPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.PPG considers several factors in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications and education, licensure and certifications, and other organizational needs.Other incentives may apply.Our employee benefits programs are designed to support the health and well-being of our employees.Any insurance coverages and benefits will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and associated governing plan documents.#J-*****-Ljbffr
