CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)Escape Campus is an international education group focused on language learning, operating language schools across the UK, Spain, Italy and Colombia (online and in-person) and building an AI-powered EdTech division providing innovative learning solutions.We are looking for aPart-Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO)to help structure and scale the financial side of the business and to lead our fundraising strategy across all Escape Campus projects.Role OverviewThis is astrategic and hands-onrole.We are looking for someone who can:Understand theoverall business modelof Escape Campus (schools + online + EdTech)Take ownership offinancial planning, cash flow, and unit economicsLead and optimise our fundraising efforts(VCs, angels, grants, public funds, accelerators)Help the CEO make data-driven decisions ongrowth, investments, and profitabilityKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain thefinancial modelof Escape Campus Group (P&L, cash flow, forecasts, scenarios)Analyse and improveunit economics(customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, margins per product/country, etc.)Lead and structure the fundraising strategy:Identify and prioritise relevantinvestors, funds, and grant opportunitiesSupport in preparing pitch decks, financial slides, business plans and data roomsJoin investor meetings and handle financial & business due diligenceImplement or improve basic financial processes and reporting:Monthly/quarterly reportingBudgeting and budget vs. actualsCash flow management and runway planningAdvise oncorporate structure, subsidiaries and cross-country operations(UK, Spain, Italy, Colombia) with our legal/accounting partnersSupport the CEO instrategic decisions(pricing, product mix, hiring plan, cost optimisation, expansion)Ensure compliance with basicfinancial regulations and good governance practicesRequirementsProven experience asCFO, Finance Director, Head of Financeor similar in a startup or scale-up (EdTech, SaaS, or education-related sectors)Strong skills infinancial modelling, forecasting and unit economicsDemonstrated experience infundraising(equity, convertible instruments, grants, public funding, accelerators, etc.)Ability to translate numbers intoclear strategic recommendationsfor non-financial stakeholdersComfortable working withdistributed operationsacross multiple countries and currenciesHands-on, pragmatic, able to work withlimited resourcesin an early-stage environmentExcellentEnglish(spoken and written)Nice to HaveExperience inEdTech, education, or training businessesExperience withgrant/public fund applications(innovation, digitalisation, education)Familiarity withUK and EU startup ecosystems(investors, programmes, instruments)Based in Europe or similar time zone#J-*****-Ljbffr
