A Day in the LifeThe surgical robotics utilization team manages all aspects of system installation start-up, customer training, account analysis, drive and optimize the robotic program.Placement of a HUGO surgical robot in the hospital requires full-time support for an account-specific period to ensure successful integration into the hospital's service lines.The utilization team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain and broad experience across multiple disciplines.They partner with hospital stakeholders to drive complex transformational changes, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operations.We are seeking talented individuals who are eager to use all their skills and competencies to quickly deploy our ground-breaking robotic-assisted surgical therapies to patients, surgeons, and hospitals in several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).This is a fully remote role that requires travel throughout the country more than 75% of the time.Responsibilities may include the following (and other duties may be assigned):Meet with robotic program stakeholders and develop program goals and metrics for the HUGO RAS-system.Conduct regular program review meetings to remain on track.Develop a surgeon training plan, coordinate attendance at Medtronic off-site training, and arrange for proctored cases post-training as needed.Develop a training plan to support staff, including attendance at a Medtronic off-site training class, and support staff through their learning curve.Support technology adoption by attending cases during surgeon and staff learning sessions.Utilize change management techniques to engage clinical stakeholders and attain buy-in.Coach hospital staff to promote skill transfer and achieve self-sufficiency in operational excellence.Cooperate with Medtronic field service engineer (FSE) and hospital staff to prepare the operating room to host the HUGO RAS-system.Track milestones to demonstrate the value delivered for the pilot site.Required Knowledge and ExperienceBachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Healthcare Management or a related field.Fluent in English and Italian.The ability to speak more languages is a plus.Willingness to travel throughout your country (>75%).Strong analytical, excellent interpersonal and research skills.Eager to learn and passionate about medical technology and surgical innovation.Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.Preferred location: Bari, Puglia – Italy.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position; they are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.We recognize their contributions.They share in the success they help to create.We offer a wide range of benefits, resources, and competitive compensation plans designed to support you at every career and life stage.Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial / Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Italy: 37,****** EUR - 56,****** EUR.This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).About MedtronicWe lead global healthcare technology and boldly attack the most challenging health problems facing humanity by searching out and finding solutions.Our Mission to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life unites a global team of 95,000 passionate people.We are engineers at heart, putting ambitious ideas to work to generate real solutions for real people.From the R&D lab to the factory floor to the conference room, every one of us experiments, creates, builds, improves and solves.We have the talent, diverse perspectives, and guts to engineer the extraordinary.Learn more about our business, mission, and our commitment to diversity here.#J-*****-Ljbffr
