Sales / Commercial Director at Blackstone Industrial ServicesJob SummaryThe Sales and Commercial Director is an expert of rotating equipment service in Oil and Gas, and the energy sector.Primarily for chemical and petrochemical applications, but also for industrial and transportation sectors.Strong technical background in reciprocating, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines applications, and other rotating equipment.Possesses strong market view and customer relationship development skills.Has strong commercial operation skills to lead business development in assigned territories and customers.Possesses a proven track record of leading high-performance teams globally located.The role involves leading a sales/commercial team focused on SSA, Europe, and other regions, driving order generation, margin expansion, and new market/customer reach.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of sales/commercial resources to cover activities in assigned territories for Blackstone International, focusing on broadening the portfolio of product offering including field service, parts sales, repairs, and Engineered Solutions in coordination with CST.Create and maintain customer relationships in the country and drive market share penetration.Coordinate with global commercial teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical support solutions for the customer locally.Support and lead contract negotiations, risk assessment, etc.Support project execution and customer interaction per contractual requirements, coordinating with the rest of the organization.Serve as the customer entry point for technical support and engineered solutions provision.Support data collection for equipment troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.Be responsible for order generation and margin growth with assigned targets for the covered regions, and assign sales targets to the team.Support senior leadership in defining overall company strategy, with special input on sales growth and new market penetration.Maintain order intake scores and forecasts, utilizing corporate platforms like Salesforce; also responsible for account planning, fleet mapping, and penetration.Education & ExperienceBS degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical disciplines (MBA preferred).Minimum 15 years of experience in sales/commercial activities for maintenance services in oil and gas, chemical, or petrochemical sectors.Strong technical background in rotating equipment and auxiliaries, with a special focus on operations and maintenance.Minimum 5 years of experience leading and directing a sales/commercial team located in multiple territories.Ability to deliver on sales targets and drive long-term strategic initiatives to grow the organization.English speaking and good command of French/Spanish.Strong communication, self-starting/entrepreneurial attitude.#J-*****-Ljbffr
