About us: At Exein, our mission is to build the world's first ecosystem for IoT device security, ensuring that all types of devices are protected worldwide.Our dynamic team is passionate about data, machine learning, open source, and firmware.We constantly work to secure millions of devices, making everyday life safer for everyone.Our unique products empower developers to secure their IoT devices with cutting-edge technology in a simple and frictionless way.Job Overview:We are looking for an IT System Administrator & Security Specialist to manage and develop the company's technological infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, security, and operational continuity.The role will be responsible for managing hardware and software tools, standardizing systems, implementing security policies, and maintaining internal servers, email services, and backups.This is a key position to ensure reliable, secure systems that comply with ISO/IEC ***** certification standards.Responsibilities:- Manage company hardware and software assigned to employees: planning, configuration, and maintenance.- Standardize software used across the company and define security policies related to device usage.- Manage IT security: introduce and maintain protection tools (antivirus, MDM, authentication systems, encryption, etc.).- Manage internal IT infrastructure: servers, local networks, email services, storage, and backups.- Administer internal servers, including the mail server and related services.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users, hardware, software, and network connections.- Manage software licenses, including offline Office suites and other business tools.- Maintain and continuously improve IT security policies, in line with ISO/IEC ***** certification requirements.- Collaborate with other company functions to ensure compliance, efficiency, and scalability of the technological infrastructure.Requirements:- At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator / IT Specialist.- Strong skills in managing LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs, and backup systems.- Familiarity with software license management and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).- Knowledge of IT security best practices and ISO/IEC ***** principles.- Experience with monitoring tools, antivirus, endpoint protection, and mobile device management (MDM).- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.- Clear communication and effective support for internal users.- Proactive mindset and curiosity for technological innovation.Why Join Us?- You will be the key reference point for IT infrastructure and corporate security.- You'll join a dynamic and inclusive work environment that values innovation and quality.- You'll become part of a team driven by a clear mission: to make IoT devices secure worldwide.Location:Rome (Piazzale Flaminio 19, *****) – Hybrid modeExein is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.We evaluate all applications fairly regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, background, or orientation.
