Position:Regional Finance DirectorThe team includes different areas of responsibility, in particular: Statutory Accounting, Group Reporting & Regional Accounting, Credit and Financial Compliance.Overall of people around 140 with 4 DRs, spread out across different locations in Italy and abroadYour roleHands-on /end-to-end Financial Leadership, operational oversight on main accounting and reporting activities, as well as on Credit and SOX maintenance and implementation, becoming the key POC for both internal and external stakeholders for the financial control matters.Lead, coordinate or support key activities related to Regional Finance processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities, liaising with both Tax department and FP&A department as well as with CFO's agenda and International/Group Finance teams.Here a non-exhaustive list of the main activities you'll carry out:Monthly closing, US GAAP adjustments, extraordinary/material journal entries review and approval, system approvals, analytical review checklistsInvoice, purchase orders, payments approvals onto the Systems according to specific PoAs and thresholds and consistently with Risks and Control MatrixFinancial Statements disclosure reviewFrequent meetings and interactions both with local and Group auditorsCollection plans approval, client advancesLiquidity management, credit risk, bad debt provisioningCredit policy harmonization across the different brandsClosing checklists, SOX Compliance Certificate review, remediation progress status managementUAM/SOD system approvals, approval of critical transactionsSOX Compliance Certificate quarterly reviewGroup Internal control key point of contact across the Finance area·Experienced as a professional working in Finance/Financial Control and Compliance with exposure to complex or international environments.·Demonstrative experience of managing or supporting processes/activities/operations end-to-end.·A proven ability to lead heterogeneous and complex teams in fast-changing environments.·Strong entrepreneurial and technical skills.·In-depth knowledge of IFRS, USGAAP, SAP/Oracle and SOX-similar internal control frameworks relevant to the role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Location: MILANHybrid workAvailability to travel occasionally#J-*****-Ljbffr
