ENGIE puts sustainable development at the center of its activities (electricity, natural gas, energy efficiency, and services) to meet the challenges of the energy transition to a low-carbon economy: access to a sustainable economy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resource optimization.Who are we looking for?We are currently searching for IT Solution Analyst in S&EM Italy, based in Milan.ENGIE Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) provides energy supply solutions and risk management services to support its clients through their decarbonization journey, while optimizing ENGIE's assets and contributing to value creation.ENGIE is a global reference in low-carbon energy and services with a leading energy management business piloted by its Global Business Unit Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) that built its savoir-faire managing the Group's large and diverse asset portfolio over 20+ years.7,500 employees around the world develop our solutions through 19 countries.We cover the full energy mix: renewable and thermal power, natural gas & LNG, biomass, environmental products.Our experts provide tailor-made solutions based on a wide range of savoir-faire in energy management with a strong focus on decarbonation and decentralization.Our clients span the entire value chain: producers, asset developers, financial players, utilities, distributors and industrials.Our global reach and strong local presence enable us to offer these diverse clients tailor-made services and respond to rapid changes in mature or emerging markets alike.Our 3 areas of expertise:Asset managementEnergy supply, providing green energy & innovative solutionsAt S&EM we encourage breakthrough results, team spirit, curiosity and innovation while preserving the right work/life balance for you.What will you do?We're looking for a proactive and analytical IT Solution Analyst to join our existing team and support a Strategic Digital Transformation Project in the context of the B2B/Giants meter-to-cash process.His key initiative will revolutionize our IT ecosystem, with a direct impact on core business operations such as invoicing, contract management, B2B offerings, and data analytics.You'll thrive in a dynamic and complex environment where close collaboration between IT and Business teams is essential.This project involves the adoption and integration of core platforms, as well as the evolution of our data management and analytics architectures, exploring and implementing innovative solutions.Requirements Analysis: Bridging business needs and technical solutions by gathering and documenting functional/non-functional requirements.Development & Configuration Support: Translating requirements into technical specs and aiding system configuration.Test Management: Planning and executing Integration Testing and UAT, including test case preparation, defect management, and business coordination.Data Activities: Supporting data migration validation and analytics, including ETL and reporting.System Integrations: Defining and documenting APIs and supporting integration testing.Documentation: Creating and updating all functional and technical project documents.Troubleshooting & Support: Providing second-level support and contributing to problem resolution (RCA).New Initiatives: Participating in POCs and supporting business continuity.ABOUT YOUThe ideal profile matches with the following prerequisites:Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related fields).Minimum 2 years of proven experience of IT systems' design covering a wide range of enterprise applications: CRM (ideally Salesforce), metering, invoicing, ERP (ideally SAP), credit management.Awareness of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies and capability to support agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.Knowledge of system integration principles and APIs;
