Lawo designs, manufactures, and sells cutting-edge networked video, audio, and control systems for television and radio production as well as live performance applications all over the world.You will be a part of a team that delivers cutting-edge IP-based SMPTE **** broadcast infrastructure projects.System Design & Consulting and implementation.Provide technical consulting and develop conceptual designs tailored to customer needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine system architecture.Configure, program, and test systems before delivery.Commission systems on-site, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.Customer Support & Training.Deliver operational and technical training to engineers and operators.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site.Perform system updates and health checks in the field and remotely.Work closely with internal teams across departments to ensure project success.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for customers and internal support teams.Support project managers with handover documentation and project coordination.Assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product presentations and demonstrations.Temporarily support blueprint testing and evaluation under the guidance of system engineering.IP-Based Audio and Video NetworkingFamiliarity with SMPTE ST ****, AES67, and RAVENNA standards.Understanding of IP routing, multicast, and network configuration.Broadcast Control SystemsExperience with Lawo's VSM or similar broadcast control systems.Ability to configure and automate workflows across audio/video devices.Audio Mixing and ProcessingProficiency with Lawo mc2 series consoles and related software.Knowledge of digital audio signal flow, gain structure, and DSP.System Integration and ConfigurationHands-on experience with configuring and commissioning complex broadcast systems.Ability to read and interpret system schematics and signal flow diagrams.Software & ToolsFamiliarity with Lawo configuration tools (e.g., Ember+, Home, SmartDASH, SmartScope).Competence in using network monitoring tools and remote access platforms.Testing and TroubleshootingSkills in pre-delivery testing, diagnostics, and resolving system issues both remotely and on-site.Use of test equipment like audio analyzers, network sniffers, and waveform monitors.Scripting and Automation (Optional but Valuable)Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Lua, Python) for automation and customization.Deep understanding of live production workflows, digital audio systems, and broadcast infrastructure.Knowledge of IP-based media transport protocols (e.g., SMPTE ST ****, AES67, RAVENNA).Familiarity with Lawo consoles (e.g., mc2 series), VSM control systems, and HOME platform a plusUnderstanding of signal routing, gain structure, and system architecture preferred.Awareness of broadcast standards and compliance requirements.SkillsProficiency in creating clear, user-friendly documentation for internal and external stakeholders.Effective communication skills for delivering technical training and product demonstrations.AbilitiesAbility to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments such as live event setups.Strong team player who can work across departments and with international teams.Ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that ensure satisfaction.Readiness for travel (local/national/international).Williness to stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends.- Job location: North America- Competitive Salary based on expertise/experience and geographic region- Attractive Annual bonus- Generous HRA- Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance- 401K with Company Match- Company-paid Laptop and iPhone, with a budget for additional home office equipment- Personal growth within an international environmentTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.We establish standard base pay ranges for all roles, based on function, level, and country location, and benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed.#J-*****-Ljbffr
