ITA FedEx Express Italy s.r.l.Address: VIA DI SALONE 124Position SummaryAs a FedEx Health Safety and Dangerous Goods (HSDG) Specialist Senior, you will provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, acting as RSPP and DGSA for FedEx locations.You will empower and enable key stakeholders and managers to address HSDG issues and reduce incidents.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct RSPP and DGSA related activities as per regulation.Work in compliance with the HSDG FedEx Policy and Procedures.Assess compliance of assigned locations to local legislation, FedEx manual, and local HSDG management systems, performing periodic audits.Follow up on all HSDG deviations to close out non-compliances and support actions raised through internal and external auditing processes or incident investigations.Provide guidance on HSDG related aspects to country management and all stakeholders.Leverage local HS authorities and certifying bodies, facilitate external audits, and maintain relevant certification.Develop and implement HS/DG programmes and standards to reduce worker injuries and encourage employees to adopt correct attitudes toward HSDG matters.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).Advanced comprehension and speaking skills in English.RSPP and DGSA certifications.5+ years' experience preferably within a logistics organization.Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.Good judgment and decision-making skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize a busy workload.Based in central-southern Italy.BenefitsAttractive compensation package.Extensive learning resources to further develop your skills and knowledge.Tuition Assistance Program (applicable for FedEx positions with a permanent contract).Employee Assistance Program.Employee reduced-rate shipping.Great career opportunities within a globally recognized company.#J-*****-Ljbffr
