Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship availableWe are seeking an experienced HIL Methodologist Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to advanced testing activities within the industrial handling sector.This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a technical, safety-critical environment and is ready to take ownership of Hardware-in-the-Loop methodologies for next-generation industrial vehicles.?? Key Responsibilities- Develop, introduce, and consolidate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) methodologies for fault-injection testing on industrial forklifts.- Ensure compliance with EN **** safety standards, with potential extension to Battery Management System (BMS) testing.- Define a complete simulation framework enabling controlled testing of:- Electrical faults- Communication faults- Sensor faults- Validate the robustness, reliability, and fail-safe behavior of vehicle control systems.- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, traceable, and automated test processes.??? Required Technical Skills- Strong experience with the Vector toolchain, particularly CANoe, for modeling and simulating communication buses (CAN, CANopen, LIN, mixed networks).- Proficiency with vTestStudio for test case definition, automation, and traceability.- Mandatory certifications: PES – PEV – PAI (work with live electrical parts).- Solid understanding of safety-critical systems and HIL architectures.?? Additional Requirements- 3–5 years of experience in HIL testing, automotive/industrial systems, or related fields.- Italian C1 (mandatory) and English B2 proficiency.- Ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism.- No travel required.- A workstation will be provided on-site by the customer.- Freelancers are welcome.??
