Staff Nurse, Ep Lab Cath Intervention

JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence-based nursing procedures and practices to patients of all ages on assigned nursing unit. This position is also responsible for demonstrating competency in the behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs of patients being treated.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is requiredA minimum three (3) year curriculum in Nursing from an accredited program is requiredExperienceA minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in a Ep Lab/Cath as a NurseCertification and LicensureValid and current national license is requiredBLS is required from AHA or an equivalent organization or must be obtained within 3 months of employmentACLS, PALS relevant to the area of specialty is required, from AHA or an equivalent organization; or must be obtained within 6 months of employmentJob-Specific Skills and AbilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively manage multipleFluency in written and spoken EnglishExperience with electronic medical records is strongly preferredAbility to speak and write in Arabic is preferred
