providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays and computed tomography.The Radiologic Technologist provides X-Ray and CT services.This position is based in Israel.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform X-Ray and CT studies ordered by staff on patients.Document patient care services by charting inpatient and department records.Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning the patient.Adjust immobilization devices, move equipment into specified positions and modify equipment controls to set exposure factors.Provide explanations of treatment and answer questions for patients.Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam-restrictive devices, patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors.Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.Follow drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media, administer first aid and use the emergency cart.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Actively participate in Mass Casualty exercises and events.Complete required organizational compliance education, including client-specified requirements, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.QualificationsBasic Requirements/CertificationsMinimum of 3 years recent experience as a Radiology Technician, including 6 months within the last year.Must have an unrestricted license and be American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified or country of record equivalent.Must have ARRT CT certification/registration or country of record equivalent.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or approved equivalent.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.Education RequiredMust have completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a Diploma, Certificate or associate degree.U.S. Military Radiology Technician technical school training certification (4R0X1, 68P, HM-****) or country of record equivalent may also fulfill this requirement.Physical RequirementsMust meet pre-deployment physical requirements.Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.Other Special QualificationsValid Passport from country of record with at least 18 months before expiration date.Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel.Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.Applicants with current clearances are preferred.Must be able to relocate to Israel for the duration of the project.Must be able to
