JOB DESCRIPTION The IT Manager – Digital Architecture and Operations will lead the design and delivery of advanced digital solutions enabling digital processes, connected vehicles, connected engines, digital marketing platforms, and data & AI ecosystems. This role requires deep operations, cloud-native and solution architecture expertise, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure architectures across cloud and data platforms. The IT Manager will orchestrate technical streams while being supported by Infrastructure and Security teams, ensuring compliance, resilience, and operational excellence.The position combines technical leadership with strategic responsibilities in vendor management, budget governance, and innovation, driving initiatives that prioritize customer focus, quality everywhere, and continuous upskilling.RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and implement and run solution architectures for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and future scalability.Lead technical design and operations for AWS, Azure, and Databricks environments, optimizing performance, security, and cost.Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure robust foundations and compliance with security and governance frameworks.Establish observability and monitoring strategies for proactive system health management.Manage budget planning and financial control, ensuring cost efficiency and transparency.Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to guarantee delivery quality.Translate business requirements into technical actions and roadmaps and actionable solutions.Ensure integration of data platforms, AI services, and connected product ecosystems.Drive innovation and continuous improvement, fostering adoption of emerging technologies.Provide clear and actionable project and architecture reporting to senior management.Experience10+ years in IT roles, with at least 5 years in solution architecture, operations and technical leadership.Proven experience in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and data platforms (Databricks).Strong background in enterprise integration, observability, and monitoring frameworks.Experience managing digital products and systems, connected products, digital marketing ecosystems.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and vendor ecosystems effectively.Required Knowledge and SkillsMaster degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldLanguages:English – written and spokenItalian – written and spokenExpert knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and data engineering platforms.Solid understanding of solution architecture principles, integration patterns, and security best practices.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.Strong financial acumen for budget planning and cost optimization.Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or Scrum Master are a plus.Key Behaviours and CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering value and quality.Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to foster innovation and continuous learning within the team.Skilled in managing complexity and driving results under tight deadlines.Collaborative approach to working with multi-national, cross-functional teams.
