I'm here looking for a live-in housekeeper for normal duties of a live-in housekeeper but honestly also company in reciprocal respect. You will have an official monthly salary and normal job contract. That means you have full health insurance like any other Italian. Salary according to the standards for live-in housekeepers in Italy. That can increase with time based on your ability. We will agree on what 2 days or 1 plus 2 half days you will be free. You don't need to work early mornings or after dinner except if I have guests for dinner. You will get a 2 weeks of paid Vacation per 1 year work. Your living and food is all free. When you go to the grocery you can also buy food or dessert for yourself if you prefer different food then I do. A car (Range Rover) can be used for personal transportation and needs of the house if you have a driving license. Electric and normal bicycles are available. I pay for the gasoline for the car. I live 800meters close to town center and also a small shopping center with supermarket inside is just 2 minutes away. I am looking for somebody who can preferably stay at least 1 year if everything feels right for both parties. Longer is better. But I'm open to shorter time also. Personal chemistry and trust is important. First few weeks will be a test period to see that we get along in personallity and that you are able to do the job well. And that you are happy here in my house and comfortable with the type of work I need in my house. I am a single business man with a company in logistics/transport. Present in few countries. I live alone, I am not married. My 3 children are grown up long ago, now with their own families. I'm sometimes busy with my company, sometimes at home, since my children have partial responsibility in my company. I have a local cleaning lady coming for 4 hours, 2 times a week (On Monday and Thursdays before lunch) to do the the general cleaning of all floors and bathrooms in the the house, cleaning my bedroom and changing the bed sheets, cleaning the outer surfaces of the kitchen and some ironing. So what she does during the week is only sometime required by you. I need somebody who is capable in cooking, or at least have some interest/willing in cooking :) Somebody who is flexible and proactive to the needs of the house and work timing of the day. Flexibility and being able to asses what needs to be done in the house also on your own and being proactive in this, is the key. I need a housekeeper who most importantly can: - Cook lunch and dinner - Do the grocery shopping - Daily washing dishes - Keeping the kitchen clean in general (including the floor of the kitchen, inside cabinets and refrigerator/freezer and cleaning the kitchenin in its général needs. - Set the table before meals and clearing the table after - Doing the laundry - Feeding the cats etc. - Organizing the house/items in the house, and sometimes a room in the house that needs to be organized. - In case I have friends at the house for lunch or dinner: Prepare the food before and set the table, help during the meal to bring things or clear empty dishes etc... and clean up the table and dishes after, we will always have meals together. - Help me in garden work wharering plants although the existing automatic watering system. Also occasionally some dusting, cleaning the gym, some treatment or cleaning of outdoor furniture and seating areas etc. and possibly running simple errands. I care more about the quality of the food then the price. And avoid processed food. I will show you in the grocery shop what I usually like to buy. You will live in your own room with a private bathroom in the house, a bit separated from my bedroom area. In your room is also an air conditioner, TV and shutters for the windows to make it dark for sleeping. Bathtub in some of the bathrooms available. Also work desk. WiFi connection in the house of course. You are free to use the outside swimming pool, the 2 saunas of the house and the gym in the basement as you please. I live in a historic town close to the beautiful dolomite mountains. Bassano del Grappa is 70 km from Venice, connected by 1 hour train. 1 hour drive to Venice airport and 1 hour and 20 min drive to the famous island city of Venice. Beautiful clear water mountain river passing trough the town touching the house garden. There is a popular trail along the river for walkers and runners, where I sometimes take a walk before lunch. There is also a senic bicycle trail at the edge of the mountain area just 20 min buy car from the house. It is possible to take the bicycles in the car to the start of the trail. I travel occasionally internationally. Sometimes you might come with me if possible, sometimes you will stay in my house while I'm gone (still getting paid if working) and sometimes you might decide to take a vacation yourself.
