For a client of ours, we're hiring aSenior Business Developer PV & BESSto lead the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects, across origination, partnerships, bidding, and transition to execution.This is a strategic, cross-functional role that sits at the heart of new market entry and project development.You'll report to the Country Head and collaborate with international business development leads to identify high-impact opportunities and bring them to commercial close.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and assess new project opportunities, partnerships, and acquisition targetsStructure joint ventures and consortia with local and international playersManage the full bid process, from initial application through to negotiation and awardLead strategic, technical, and financial due diligenceBuild and validate the project's financial model and risk profileMonitor national and regional regulatory frameworks and incentivesOversee external advisors (legal, engineering, commercial) and service providersCoordinate on offtake agreements (PPA, BRP/ARP) with internal energy management teamEnsure a smooth handover to implementation teams post-commercial closeContribute to broader strategic development new markets, business lines, and partnershipsWhat We're Looking For8–12 years' experience in business development, project finance, M&A, or transactional rolesBackground in renewable energy ismandatoryProven track record in originating and closing complex infrastructure projectsStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skills in competitive environmentsAbility to operate across financial, legal, technical, and regulatory dimensionsFluent English required; French or another European language is a plusBased in Milan (hybrid model)If you're ready to take a leadership role in shaping the energy transition, and enjoy working at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution, we'd love to hear from you.Apply directly, or send us your CV atSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness DevelopmentIndustries: Staffing and Recruiting and Services for Renewable Energy#J-*****-Ljbffr
