DescriptionRyanair is currently recruiting a Gops Base Manager to join Europe's Largest Airline GroupThis is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.Based in Italy, this role will ensure that our Ground Ops Dept adheres to strict procedures and policies in place and will be based in one of our busiest regions.ResponsibilitiesOversight of the operations at Ryanair bases and airports within a specific region.Responsibility for all aspects of base/airport set-up and ongoing compliance with approved Ryanair ground operational and administrative procedures.Ensuring that infrastructural, contractual and operational requirements and performance targets are achieved in compliance with the highest standards of safety.Ensuring optimum punctuality, customer service and cost-efficiency standards are met.Liaising with airport authorities and ground handling agencies to ensure a safe, efficient operation is established and maintained.Development and implementation of programmes to incorporate changes in corporate policy, new legislative requirements affecting ground operations and changes in traffic capacity at assigned airports.Participation in AOC and User Committees.Chairing of weekly meetings with key personnel at each base and issuing minutes and action points arising from these meetings.Reporting of any issues pertinent to the Flight operations, Inflight, Engineering departments and providing any practical assistance to them in the satisfactory resolution of these issues.Visiting and approving potential new Bases and Airports in close cooperation with commercial department.Invoice management and approval.Contract negotiations.Support General Manager in various projects.RequirementsExperience of working in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth organization.Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Fluent English and a second European language would be beneficial.Strong administration skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to work under own initiative.Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Flexibility & ability to travel and quickly adapt to changes.BenefitsCompetitive SalaryExcellent career progressionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline by 2x.Get notified about new Base Manager jobs in Fiumicino, Latium, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
