Quality Assurance Engineer | Cross Border The Amazon Exports and Expansion technology team is looking for talented, detail oriented and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join the team who can own the project end to end testing process.We engage QAEs at the beginning of the project to understand business requirements and technical implementation and test code at the user level both manually or with automated tools.AEE (Amazon Exports & Expansion) Tech builds and tests technology that brings Amazon footprint to new countries by offering Best- At- Amazon with undeniable delivery experience, selection and convenience localized for our customers.We enable Amazon to new international marketplaces and give an opportunity for consumers in new geographies to find, discover, and buy anything online and for local and international sellers to choose Amazon as an indispensable channel for their products, with each country launch, we continually raise the bar on launch day 1 features and drive innovation for customers.We support emerging marketplace business to grow bigger as well.Country expansion and global store launches is essential to the global success of Amazon as a whole.This would be a great opportunity to be part of this exciting journeyResponsibility includes defining test strategy and test plans and reviewing them with stake holders.Improving test coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation.Representing the customer, understanding how they use the system and including the most relevant end to end user scenarios in test plans and automation.Key job responsibilitiesYou create and execute test plans with high quality test cases for straightforward scenarios involving one or more product components and features.You clearly document your work.You perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis.You correctly log defects and provide relevant data to partner teams so they can address issues.You are able to analyse test change requests (e.g., addition, removal, or modification to existing features etc.) and provide recommendations on how the change might impact test scope and/or product behaviour.You have some experience with the STLC and a basic knowledge in test methodologies, You are skilled in four core software-testing techniques: (1) equivalence class partitioning, (2) boundary value testing, (3) verifying each requirement and (4) state transitionYou have basic knowledge in a scripting language.You use this knowledge to debug, troubleshoot, create and maintain test automation scripts.You create simple tools to reduce manual effort or more accurately audit component or improve feature quality.You are able to train new team members on team proceduresBasic Qualifications2+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in automation testingExperience in manual testingExperience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)Preferred QualificationsExperience in API & Mobile testingExperience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and controlOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Posted: January 26, **** (Updated about 11 hours ago)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
