Saipem is "One Company" organized into business lines: Asset Based Services, Drilling, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.Saipem Asset Based Services Business Line, is looking for a Power BI Specialist for the Offshore Construction Manning & Vessel Planning Funtion – VECOP.How can you support us?Drive informed decision-making across the engineering team by leveraging data-driven insights, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques to uncover valuable patterns, trends, and opportunities within the engineering data ecosystem.Transform raw and historical data from past BID/EPC projects into actionable knowledge, providing strategic guidance to support the projet engineering teams in their day-to-day operational activities, tailoring the analysis to the project's needs.The main tasks are:Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.Connect to various data sources and ensure data quality and integrity.Create and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query.Automate data refreshes and reporting processes.Provide training and support to Power BI end-users.Document BI solutions and maintain technical documentation.Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI solutions for performance issues.Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.Promote data-driven decision-making across the organizationWhat are we looking for?Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldBackground: Less than 5 years of proven experience in data analystLanguages: EnglishTechnical Knowledge:Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI development.Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.Experience connecting to various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.).Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications for business useProgramming language such as C++. Python, R and Java.Experience with data visualization best practices.Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical usersWhat else should you know?
