Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - AI/MLAt Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives.It's why we work with some of the world's leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners.We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other.Imagine your future with us.About this roleAudible's Quality Assurance organization promotes product quality, and organizational quality ownership thru well-defined measurable processes, comprehensive quality assessment and identification of risk.In addition, the organization provides tools and infrastructure needed to support agile feature delivery, improve quality and increase engineer productivity.The team includes Quality Assurance Engineers, Quality Assurance Technicians and Software Engineers working side by side with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, User Experience, and Customer Support staff to understand features, bugs, customer usage, and technical implementation to deliver high quality products to our customers.ResponsibilitiesDrive the creation and execution of test strategy, test plans, test cases as well as utilize automated tools to optimize the STLCPerform exploratory testing, automate repetitive tasks and work side by side with software development engineers to deliver high quality product to Audible customersReview BRD with Product, development engineers for conformity and functionalityDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts for backend servicesConduct end-to-end testing for complex backend systems and APIsCollaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and identify testing needsUtilize AWS services for testing environments and deployment of test solutionsAnalyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software qualityIdentify, document, and track defects using appropriate toolsMentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharingParticipate in the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and toolsContinuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiencyAbout AudibleAudible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling.We spark listeners' imaginations, offering immersive, cinematic experiences full of inspiration and insight to enrich our customers daily lives.We are a global company with an entrepreneurial spirit.We are dreamers and inventors who are passionate about the positive impact Audible can make for our customers and our neighbors.This spirit courses throughout Audible, supporting a culture of creativity and inclusion built on our People Principles and our mission to build more equitable communities in the cities we call home.Basic Qualifications6+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience4+ years of delivering test frameworks, and test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives1+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or SDET in the Data, Marketing Technology, or Artificial Intelligence technology spaceExperience in writing SQL queries to validate data against backend databasesKnowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a QAE roleExperience in automation testingPreferred Qualifications2+ years of UI Automation (preferably on mobile platforms) experienceKnowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, Objective C1+ year of experience contributing to the architecture, design, and scaling, of test automation solutionsExperience testing mobile applications on devices and emulatorsExperience using AWSAbility to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settingsThrive in an ambiguous environment -
