Design Responsible Engineer – ADAS (Parking Assistance Systems) Turin, Italy | On-Site (5 days/week)Contract / Freelance |Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship availableWe are hiring aDesign Responsible Engineer (DRE) – ADASto support thedevelopment and validation of Parking Assistance systems(ultrasonic and camera-based) for a major automotive project based inTurin .This role requires hands-on involvement incomponent development management , supplier coordination, and system validation within a structured automotive environment.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage thecomplete development lifecycle of ADAS parking assistance componentsRelease and maintaintechnical specificationsPreparesupply packagesand support evaluation of technical offersMonitor development plans and addresscritical issues with mitigation actionsPerformimpact and risk analysisfor changes and updatesCoordinate and lead technical meetings withsuppliers and internal stakeholdersSupport and executevalidation activities for parking systemsEnsure development progress, quality, and compliance with requirements?Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experiencein development or management ofautomotive parking assistance components(Ultrasonic and/or video-based systems)At least 1 year of experienceinparking system validationStrong understanding of automotive development processesNative Italian– required for technical documentation, supplier interaction, and meetingsEnglish (intermediate or higher)for communication with global stakeholdersNice to HaveKnowledge ofinstallation characteristicsand regulatory compliance(e.g.FMVSS, GSR )Experience with automotive systems and networking:Diagnostics,CAN, LIN, Ethernet, LVDSFamiliarity with automotive standards and tools:ISO ***** , DFMEACATIA, UG, Enovia PLM, TeamcenterBasic automotivecybersecurityconceptsWork Model & Contract DetailsLocation:Turin, ItalyWork mode:100% on-site (face-to-face activities required, 5 days/week)Remote work:Not availableContract type:Freelance / SubcontractingSubco from Subco acceptedEquipment:Supplier must providelaptop with MS Office packageData privacy:No personal data processing involvedWhy Join This Project?Work onadvanced ADAS parking assistance technologiesHigh-impact, hands-on engineering roleCollaboration withinternational teams and suppliersStable project environment within a global automotive ecosystemInterested?Apply directly on LinkedIn or reach out to us for more details.We look forward to connecting with motivated ADAS engineers ready to take ownership of parking assistance component development.
