Company Description Zurich-based green-tech company Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is a global leader in solutions for energy transition and circular economy including Energy from Waste and Renewable Gas (RG), operating as part of the Hitachi Zosen Corporation Group.HZI acts as a project developer, technology supplier and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological waste recovery.Its solutions are based on efficient and environmentally sound technologies, are thoroughly tested, and can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements.HZI's Service Solutions Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to provide support throughout a plant's entire plant cycle.HZI works for customers ranging from established waste management companies to up-and-coming partners in new markets.Its innovative and reliable solutions have been part of more than 1,600 reference projects worldwide.Job Description Actively work in the Renewable Gas (RG) Team to develop the plant arrangement for Tender and Execution projects Develop the layout concept for Renewable Gas plants (AD and Methanation for upgrade/retrofit proposals and execution projects) Prepare, update and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting and piping and component drawings Incorporate and check of drawings from external and internal suppliers Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team as well as with consortium partners and suppliers of engineering services Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to review model Contact person in the project team for all layout related issues in the assigned area Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies in assigned area such as planning corridors, safety requirements, functionality, logistics, ease of assembly, modular design (containers, modules, skids) Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as HSE requirements.Qualifications Good knowledge of Revit (Autodesk) and other engineering tools, such as Navisworks, AutoCad Experience in plant / layout design Renewable Gas Plants or equivalent regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing and equipment/systems arrangement Bachelor/Master's degree ( Mechanical Engineering) or technical apprenticeship as Design Engineer or Plant Construction Engineer Profound understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology Very good MS Office user skills Fluency in English, Italia and German are a plus Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuading personality Willingness to travel % Additional Information Responsible challenge with diversified field of activity Team-oriented working atmosphere in an international Company Personal development opportunities through own Inova Academy Opportunity to gain an insight into various technical disciplines Excellent employment conditions Attractive working place (central, good transport links)
