Join to apply for theProcurement Leaderrole atChaberton Professionals .Chaberton Professionals is one of the recruiting divisions of Chaberton Partners.From our HQ in Lugano, we support client companies in the search and selection of middle and top management profiles.Our goal is to create success stories and enrich the talent pipeline within our client companies.For a leading manufacturing company operating in the retail sector, we are currently looking for aProcurement Leader.RoleLead the procurement strategy for a specific material category (leathers and fabrics, metallic accessories, other products), ensuring optimal contractual conditions and supplier base solidity.Ensure proper supplier capacity management, preventing risks of overloading or under-utilization.Align suppliers with the brand's quality, sustainability, and innovation objectives.In collaboration with the Compliance team, assure suppliers compliance and performance through regular audits.Main ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement sourcing strategy for the assigned categoryNegotiate framework contracts, prices, and commercial conditions with suppliersAssess and monitor supplier production and quality capabilitiesIdentify and develop new sourcing opportunities aligned with brand requirementsCollaborate with Product Development, Planning, Compliance and Quality teams to ensure alignment with objectivesAnalyze market trends and supply chain risksPrepare and conduct supplier performance reviews in collaboration with the Purchasing Leader and other departments (Quality, ...)Ensure the procurement of materials for new collections.RequirementsDegree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields.5+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, ideally in retail/fashion.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Knowledge of market dynamics related to the assigned category.Strong command of Excel and Power BI (or equivalent tools).English level B2 minimum; French knowledge is considered a plus.Soft SkillsStrategic vision and long-term orientation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and networking abilities.Sensitivity to sustainability and innovation.Job DetailsSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: PurchasingIndustry: ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Chaberton Professionals by 2x.#J-*****-Ljbffr
