Ai & Data Governance Specialist

Within the Group Chief Operating Office function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the Group Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation Unit.The AI & Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing all organization-wide AI & data governance activities while maintaining and updating the internal regulatory governance framework for the Group, being the accountable function for supervising, steering, monitoring and supporting its implementation in tight cooperation with Group and Entities stakeholders.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Performing constant monitoring of AI & Data governance standards, trends, and regulations, identifying potential impacts and opportunities for the GroupImplementing and operatively managing the enterprise-wide data governance framework (including policies, procedures, metrics, standards, tools and best practices) in line with external regulations and the latest technological advancementsProviding training and support to multiple Business Units and cross-functional teams on the management of the internal frameworkMonitoring and assessing the application of the AI & Data governance framework across the entire Group, identifying improvement initiatives as neededDeveloping and maintaining AI & Data governance documentation, including reports on data governance metrics and performanceManaging the framework for the specific Generali Head Office's Business Unit with operational use of AI & data governance toolsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science or any related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in AI or data governance with project management and oversight experienceStrong understanding of AI and data governance principles, practices, regulations (preferably IVASS Regulation 38 and AI Act), and business and technology issuesPractical experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Informatica, SAS, IBM)Experience in writing and managing internal regulationsGood knowledge of data architecture and data modelingKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence techniques and technologiesProfessional certifications in data governance or data management will be considered a plusExperience in the insurance industry will be considered a plusConsulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication and cultureAbility to prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and independently manage related meetingsAbility to understand legal requirements and translate them into strategic approachesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with individuals with diverse mindsetsProficiency in multitasking and managing dynamic deadlinesCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.Established in ****, Generali is present in over 50 countries in the world, with a total premium income of € 82.5 billion in ****.With around 82,000 employees serving 70 million customers, the Group has a leading position in Europe and a growing presence in Asia and Latin America.At the heart of Generali's strategy is its Lifetime Partner commitment to customers, achieved through innovative and personalised solutions, best-in-class customer experience and its digitalised global distribution capabilities.The Group has fully embedded sustainability into all strategic choices, with the aim to create value for all stakeholders while building a fairer and more resilient society.#J-*****-Ljbffr
