Job DescriptionTheAutomation Teamis a cross-functional group focused on streamlining operations, accelerating delivery, and reducing manual effort.This team plays a critical role in driving digital transformation by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.We are looking for an experiencedAutomation & DevOps Engineerto join our IT team.This role is pivotal indesigning, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with the goal of enhancing efficiency.Core ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Automation:Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AnsibleAutomate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud and on-prem resourcesCI/CD & DevOps Automation:Build and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflowsProcess & Workflow Automation:Identify and automate repetitive IT processesImplement event-driven and API-based integrations between platforms.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3-5 years in automation engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD pipeline development.Technical Skills:Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as codeProgramming Languages: Python, Bash, YAML; familiarity with Groovy and Go is a plus, and version control systems (Git).Other: Good Knowledge of at least 2 of the major CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)Problem-solving: Ability to analyze issues and design effective automation solutions.Communication: Clear and professional interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work across development, operations, and QA teams.Adaptability: Comfortable with fast-paced environments and evolving technologies.Attention to detail: Precision in scripting, testing, and documentation.Time management: Efficient handling of multiple tasks and deadlines.Proactive attitude: Initiative in identifying automation opportunities and process improvements.Company ProfileGeneraliis a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.Over almost 200 years, we have built a multinational Group that is present in more than 60 countries, with 470 companies and nearly 80,000 employees.GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platformis a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and providesIT and Procurement servicesto Generali Group companies.Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms.Based in Italy it has 6 branches across Europe and employs about ***** people.#J-*****-Ljbffr
