Senior Site Process Engineer (all genders)Job ID: ******* | Amazon Logistik Frankenthal GmbH - E73For our new Fulfillment Center in Contwig (Zweibrücken) we are looking for a Senior Site Process Engineer (all genders).Operations is at the heart of Amazon business.We are known for our speed, accuracy and exceptional service.Our buildings deliver tens of thousands of products to hundreds of countries worldwide, every day.In these key roles, you'll come in to help us exceed productivity goals and deliver against our customer promises.Our scale is expansive and our presence is growing.Our goal is simple: to offer the world's greatest selection of products and services with the world's best customer experience.Whatever customers want, Amazon will find the means to deliver it.With your help, Amazon will continue to enable people to discover new worlds and implement innovation.This is your chance to make history.ResponsibilitiesDrive process stabilization and standardization across European Fulfillment CentersLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performanceImplement technological advancements in operationsMinimize performance variation between shifts, buildings, and regionsCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve process metricsA day in the lifeAs a Site Process Engineer, your day begins with analyzing performance data from previous shifts, quickly identifying areas needing attention.You'll spend time on the Fulfillment Center floor, observing processes firsthand and connecting with associates to understand their daily challenges.One moment you might be brainstorming with your team about implementing a new robotics solution, the next you could be leading a workshop helping operations leaders adopt best practices.Your problem-solving skills come into play as you tackle real-time challenges, while your afternoons often involve collaborating with colleagues across Europe to share insights and align on network-wide improvements.Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to innovate in one of the world's most advanced logistics networks.About the teamThe Process Engineering team drives operational excellence in Amazon's European Fulfillment Centers.We're a diverse group of problem-solvers and innovators who transform complex challenges into practical solutions.Our team balances technical expertise with a passion for continuous improvement, working to perfect every aspect of fulfillment operations.We collaborate closely with multiple teams across Amazon, from operations to robotics, ensuring our Fulfillment Centers operate at peak efficiency.If you're passionate about applying technology to real-world operations and working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, you'll find yourself right at home here.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a related fieldExperience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineeringStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience in technical support, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniquesExperience in data analysisExperience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administrationKnowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1Preferred QualificationsExperience in technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programsExperience with continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen, Lean, DMAIC, etc.Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience leading cross-functional teams to establish strong partnerships with demonstrable resultsExperience leading process improvementsExperience in operations management for a fulfillment or distribution centerKnowledge of basic German -
