Ocean Import/Export Specialist – Milan, Italy Company Overview ACF Global Logistics is a leading international Freight Forwarder/NVOCC, IATA agent, Customs Broker, and warehouse provider delivering comprehensive 3PL/4PL solutions.With a worldwide footprint and cutting-edge technology, we support global supply chains through U.S. Customs compliance expertise, ocean and air freight forwarding, and fully integrated end-to-end logistics.The OpportunityWe're expanding our Milan team and looking for an experienced Ocean Import/Export Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced international environment.This role is ideal for a logistics professional who takes ownership, communicates with precision, and ensures every shipment moves flawlessly from origin to destination.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:- Coordinate ocean freight shipments with suppliers, customers, carriers, and trucking partners.- Prepare, review, and validate all required import/export documentation.- Manage rate negotiations, quotations, and bookings to meet customer expectations and internal performance goals.- Track and monitor shipments, resolving issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer service.- Partner with internal teams and global service centers to ensure efficient, seamless operations.What We're Looking For- Experience: Minimum 3 years in ocean, air, or international logistics operations.- Mindset: Detail-driven, proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable.- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CargoWise is a strong plus.- Languages: Fluency in English REQUIRED; additional European languages are an advantage.Why Join ACF Global?- Be part of an industry-leading global logistics organization.- Grow your career in a dynamic, international environment.- Work alongside a collaborative, innovative team committed to excellence.
