Job DescriptionGlobal Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.Based in Milan or Rome, in Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention, department of GC&C Italy - Underwriting.You will perform risk assessments to identify, analyze and evaluate risks, as well as share the best practice for the risk improvement, with the goal of enhancing awareness, risk quality and underwriting profitability.You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets.Main tasksCarry out on-site surveys and desk activities primarily for the Property Line of business, for domestic and multinational Clients, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholdersIssue and check reports with the results of risk assessments and proposed mitigation measures, to support the risk management journey and help businesses succeedRequirementsUniversity degree in an engineering science discipline3 years of relevant experience as risk engineer in multinational companiesProven knowledge of the main fire protection NFPA Standards and practice in project review of fire protection systems will be considered as a plusAbility to work in a team and in an international context, fluent in English and ItalianAnalytical mindset, good and planning skillsB driving license and availability to frequent business tripsCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
