Take the chance to work for the Organization in charge of delivering one of the biggest and most prestigious events in sport fieldFeel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina ****, leaving a mark in the sport historyBREAK THE ICEFondazione Milano Cortina **** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of ****, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.We are driven by the following values : respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.Milano Cortina **** will be the first large-scale Olympics in history : 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.The Milano Cortina **** Organizing Committee has been established in **** with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano / Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.The candidate will be placed within the Corporate Safety and Health Function and will perform and support tasks reporting to the HSE Director.Specifically, will be responsible for :Developing and implementing health and safety procedures in line with standards and legal requirements.Conducting safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.Providing health and safety training to staff and maintaining training records.Handling any incidents, investigating their causes, and recommending improvements.Keeping up-to-date with latest regulations and best practices in health and safety.Acting as a liaison with external health and safety authorities, as needed.Contributing to the identification of risk factors, risk assessment in compliance with the Italian regulations in force;Elaborate, propose and promote preventive and protective measures and control systems of these measures in the field of occupational and environmental safety;Supervise the actions defined following audits and analysis of near misses;Manage consultant in charge of safety management;Collaborate with the other Corporate Functions in the preparation of documentation technical / operational documentation on safety in the workplace;Verify that suppliers operate in compliance with company HSE policies;Verification of the contractor's documentsThe ideal candidate will have :4 / 7 years' experience in the role, in project activities in major events companies or industry consulting companies;Previous experience in construction and auditing activities is preferable;Adequate knowledge of environmental legislation, occupational safety and the ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO **** standards;Computer skills : Excellent knowledge of Office package.In particular, advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point.Possible certifications are a plus.The profile is completed by :Proven experience as safety managerDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to perform one's role in a transversal manner;Place of work : Milan with the possibility of travel and relocation to the Clusters in the BUMP IN phase.Fondazione Milano Cortina **** is committed in building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L.********) and promote the integration into its workforce of persons with disabilities (L.*******).#J-*****-Ljbffr
