Our client is a consulting company in the automotive sector, founded in ****.It serves both retail and business clients with an innovative and high-quality approach.Company's core business is the management of automotive administrative procedures for commercial clients such as leading car manufacturers, car rental companies, and dealerships.Since ****, the company has been part of a German group, which is the largest provider of vehicle registration and related services in Germany, which is currently expanding its services across EuropeWe are looking for Senior Software Developer – PHP / AWSExperience Level: Senior (Minimum 3 years required)Role OverviewWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in PHP and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our growing development team in Rome.You will be instrumental in leading the migration and digitalization of core legacy systems into scalable, cloud-based environments.If you thrive in fast-paced settings and want to drive meaningful transformation, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and maintain the existing codebase to ensure system continuitySupport future development and enhancements of the systemMigrate the system from a 3rd party AWS infrastructure to a newly established AWS environment within their organizationDevelop and maintain high-quality PHP codebases that support key business functionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutionsEnsure system security, reliability, and performance throughout the development lifecycleActively contribute to the digitalization strategy across platforms and servicesProvide technical mentorship to junior developers and promote best practicesParticipate in architectural decisions and roadmap planningQualificationsMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP developmentProven experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecturesSolid understanding of modern software development practices (CI / CD, containerization, microservices)Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetFluent in Italian (English is a plus)Location: Rome, smart working but NOT full remote#J-*****-Ljbffr
