Technical Lead (Python)hlpy, born in ****, is a tech-driven roadside assistance insurance start-up founded by visionaries who saw a gap in the market and redefined the industry with a cutting-edge digital solution ??What started as a bold idea in Italy quickly expanded to France and Spain, and as of September ****, we are proud to announce our entry into GermanyThis marks another milestone in our journey to becoming the go-to solution for modern roadside assistance across Europe— and beyond.We are looking for aPython Tech Leadto guide our backend engineering team in designing, building, and optimizing scalable software solutions.The ideal candidate will take ownership of technical decisions, ensure code quality, and mentor the team while contributing hands-on to the development of the company's core platforms.Responsibilities:Lead the technical design and development of Python-based projects, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.Architect scalable software systems (microservices, REST APIs, integrations).Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Mentor and support developers, promoting engineering best practices (code review, testing, CI/CD).Plan, estimate, and monitor development activities across multiple projects.Contribute hands-on to code implementation and complex problem-solving.Oversee release management, production deployments, and application performance monitoring.Technical Requirements:Strong proficiency inPythonand major frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask).Experience withmicroservices architectures,REST APIs, andcontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes).Solid knowledge ofrelational and NoSQL databases(PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).Experience withCI/CD pipelines(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).Familiarity withcloud environments(AWS, GCP, or Azure).Experience withlogging, monitoring, and observabilitytools.Strong understanding ofdesign patterns,SOLID principles, and clean code practices.Nice to Have:Experience withevent-driven architectures(Kafka, RabbitMQ).Familiarity withdata processing tools(Pandas, Spark, Airflow).Contributions toopen-source projectsor involvement in tech communities.Education & ExperienceDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).5+ yearsof professional software development experience, including2+ yearsin a technical leadership role.Your Journey in hlpyOur team comprises a wide range of skills and experiences: we constantly encourage all our professionals and collaborators to explorenew opportunities for growth and development.We believe that promoting an environment whereindividuals can experiment and expand their horizonsnot only increases personal satisfaction but also strengthens our collective success.Please send you CV in English
