Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II – Community Child Health, Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent MedicineJoin the research team at the University of Hong Kong to work on big data, large-scale population-based longitudinal studies, and electronic medical records-based cohort studies focused on special educational needs and mental health.Work type:Full-timeDepartment:Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical MedicineContract:Two-year fixed-term or one-year temporary with possible renewalResponsibilitiesConduct statistical data analysis and interpretation using R, STATA, SAS or other packagesPrepare scientific publications, grant proposals and reportsPrepare and manage IRB applicationsProvide general administrative and operational supportPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Data Science, or related disciplines with a strong quantitative backgroundExperience and proficiency in statistical data analysis using R, STATA, SAS or other statistical packagesExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving, organisational and administrative abilitiesAttention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary teamProficiency in big-data manipulation, longitudinal analyses, and a track record of publications is advantageousBenefitsHighly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, annual leave, medical benefits, fixed-term contract gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.ApplicationThe University only accepts online applications.Please upload an up-to-date C.V.
