Senior Property Underwriter – Italy & Southern Europe At Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty SE (AGCS), we are the global leader for insuring corporate and specialty risks in the Allianz Group.We are looking for a Senior Property Underwriter for Italy and Southern Europe Region based in Milan.Your Team– AGCS has a long-standing tradition of supporting the property and business interruption (PDBI) insurance solutions in all kinds of industries.Our team has many years of practical experience in leading the largest PDBI risks in the Italy market with international insurance programs.The Impact You Will Have– Based in Milan, being a member of the Property WW Underwriting Community.You will work closely with clients and brokers to develop personalized solutions and new relationships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Property Line of Business (LoB) local strategy and support the global LoB strategy.Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.Ownership of large accounts/clients and ultimate responsibility for accounts.Manage and steer the local portfolio, creating pipelines, discussing plans, and carrying out portfolio analyses.Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business, including client and broker negotiations.Coordinate with local distribution to drive successful execution of strategic plans.Communicate local LoB strategy externally in Italy together with market contacts and distribution.Represent AGCS internally within the Allianz Group and externally to the market.Drive involvement of functional areas in underwriting process, including distribution, ARC, claims, operations.QualificationsCompleted an appropriate level of education.Ideally 3–5 years or more of relevant experience as an underwriter, broker, or equivalent in the insurance sector.Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills.Ability to work in an international matrix organization.Ability to assess risks, coverages, terms, and conditions of a potential insurance placement and translate this into an insurance offer.Team player and well established within the market, with relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level.Experience with data analytics.Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.Together we build an environment where everyone feels empowered to explore, grow and shape a better future for our customers and the world around us.We therefore welcome applications regardless of ethnicity or cultural background, age, gender, nationality, religion, social class, disability or sexual orientation, or any other characteristics protected under applicable local laws and regulations.Both genders may apply in accordance with the L. ****** (s.m.i).#J-*****-Ljbffr
